Canadian Student Visa Requirements

Study Visa (Temporary Resident Visa for Students) and Study Permits (given after you land on Canada) are not the same. You can apply Study Visa and Study Permit online or by paper (Online are easier, faster and more convents). Even if you submit an application online, you need to send a medical report and passport (In the last stage of application). For this, you need an authorized representative. After submitting an online application form, the visa office will ask you for medical. You can find authorized physicians (doctors) in your area. Website: cic.gc.ca. After medical, if they ask your passport to stamp a visa, you have to send your passport through VAC (visa application center). Website: cic.gc.ca.

If you get a visa, visa office send you passport after 1-2 weeks.

Documents Needed:

·         Application for Study permit made outside of Canada (required) (IMM1294)

·         Passport (required)

·         Letter of Acceptance (required) - from university or educational institute

·         Proof of Means of Financial Supports (required)

·         Digital Photos (required)

·         Family Information (IMM5645) (required)

·         Application for a Temporary Resident Visa Made outside Canada (IMM 5257) as Schedule one

·         Letter of Explanation - Motivation Letter, CV or Resume, Police Clearance Report, English Language Score, Academicals Certificate, Social Involvement Certificates

·         Application Fee $150 - Credit Card or Option to pay online
